In our training program, we expect you to spend 4-6 hours per week to improve your chess. A wide variety of exercises will sharpen your chess in all aspects of the game, and avoid the program to become too one-sided. One type of exercises has to do with basic endgame knowledge and is called “Fortress or Not?”. This exercise is a multiple choice with 5 options to choose from:
- White to move wins
- White to move is a draw
- Black to move is a draw
- White wins whoever is to move
- Black draws whoever is to move
If necessary, choose 2 keys. This might apply if the result depends on who’s to move.
